Halyna Pavlyshyn (PERSONAL PROFILE)


2005 – graduated from the faculty of Philology at V. Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University. Specialty: “Pedagogy and methodology of secondary education. Language and Literature (Ukrainian; English)”, qualification: Ukrainian, English, and world literature teacher.


2012 – defended the thesis “The discourse of Maria Matios prose” for a degree of the Candidate of Philology sciences on the specialty 10.01.01 – Ukrainian Literature. Scientific adviser – Associate Professor Liubov I. Tsaryk. A scientific degree of Associate Professor of Foreign Languages and Medical Terminology Department was conferred by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science in February, 2015.


Methodological and Scientific Publications: authorship of more than 30 printed scientific and methodological papers. Co-authorship in issuing a tutorial “Professional English. Medicine” (Ternopil, 2010), and a national textbook “Professional English in General Medicine” (Lviv, 2013), both recommended for the students of the IVth accreditation level higher educational institutions.


Research Interests: innovative technologies in teaching foreign languages, development of students’ foreign language communicative competence, Ukrainian Literature, etc.
